Our 1:1 offering includes weekly 1-hour online sessions, allowing students to let their math skills shine as they work with a certified MathBait™ instructor to laugh, play, and explore their way through mathematics.

Session Types

• Catch Up – These sessions are ideal for students looking to amp up their mathematical understanding. In a Catch Up session, we focus on evaluating a student's current understanding, building their foundational skills, and extending their ability to problem-solve. We play lots of games and complete novel activities not traditionally offered in schools, to help students gain a new perspective of mathematics and numbers.

• Get Ahead – Great for students looking for a jump-start or enrichment program, with Get Ahead, students will push their understanding, and the sky's the limit! With the option to follow the traditional progression or take a deep dive into topics of interest, students will unlock their potential as they tackle challenging problems in unique and inventive ways.

• Homework Help – Is your student struggling to apply what is learned in the classroom to their homework assignments or tests? If so, Homework Help is for you. In these sessions, we help students develop a strong conceptual understanding of the topics they are studying to aid in the transition from instruction to practice.

• The Tutor – Are you searching for your own personal Mr. Pikake? The Tutor is fun and lively, taking students through Marco the Great. We'll read the groundbreaking novel together and help students perfect their potions and spells through games and activities. The Tutor is a great option for homeschool groups and co-ops!
